Dagmar Lund-Durlacher, Professor of Sustainable Tourism Management, is Director of the Institute for Sustainability in Tourism in Vienna and currently Senior Research Associate at the Center for Sustainable Tourism at the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde. Until 2021, she was a professor at Modul University Vienna, where she headed the Department of Tourism and Service Management and served as Dean of the Undergraduate School. She completed her doctoral studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and is a trained market research and data analyst.

She regularly participates in international expert teams for quality assurance of international tourism and hospitality programs. She is also part of advisory and expert groups at UNEP (UN Environment Programme), UNWTO (UN World Tourism Organization) and various public and private tourism organizations in Austria and Germany. She has worked on a number of international and EU-funded projects in the field of sustainable tourism. Her public presentations, writings and research focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility as a transformative force for sustainable tourism development, measuring sustainability in tourism, climate change, circular economy, sustainable transport and sustainable food in tourism and hospitality.
