Jaume Rosselló-Nadal is a Professor of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands, Spain. During the last years he has held the positions of Adjunct Professor at Griffith Institute for Tourism in Australia (2016-2020) and Visiting Scholar (Fulbright Program) in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, USA (2018). He has led several government-funded research programs in the European Union and Spain and has also undertaken different consultancy work in the Balearic Islands.
Jaume has widely published on the topics of tourism demand modelling, climate change, energy, residents’ attitudes, environmental policy, and seasonality. He is on several editorial boards of leading tourism journals, and he also contributes frequently to several research advisory panels. He is currently Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business and Head of Studies for the Degree in Economics and the Double Degree in Economics and Tourism. He teaches microeconomics and tourism and climatic change issues.
