Felix Dodds has been a leading thinker in the area of global governance for thirty years. Now an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina. He has edited or written 24 books on sustainable development. His new book is Heroes of Environmental Diplomacy: Profiles in Courage In 2018 he stood for Executive Director of UNEP. He co-founded the coalition for SDG 11 in 2013 and the Water and Climate Coalition in 2007.

He chaired the first UN Conference to come out with a set of indicative Sustainable Development Goals in September 2011. And cowrote the book Negotiating the Sustainable Development Goals with Ambassador David Donoghue, Jimena Leiva Roesch. From 1992 to 2012 he was the Executive Director of Stakeholder Forum for a Sustainable Future. He is a co-founder of SUNx Malta – Climate Friendly Travel.
