Emma is recognised for her work on environmental sustainability and climate change, working for over 20 years in public, private and academic sectors in the UK, Europe, and Australia. Emma has led some significant projects and partnerships, to advance the transition toward a circular and low-carbon economy and increase climate resilience in the tourism and transport sectors. This includes policy development, strategic guidance, action research, and practical tools.
Emma is the Head of Partnerships for Stralis Aircraft and Chair of the Hydrogen Flight Alliance in Australia, working to advance hydrogen-electric propulsion. Prior to that she was the A/Executive Director for Griffith University’s Climate Ready Initiative and remains an Adjunct Industry Fellow with Griffith Business School. She also worked on climate transition policy, in the Climate Change and Sustainable Futures Branch of the Queensland Government.
