Diego Navarro-Drazich works as a researcher for the Argentine Council of Scientific Research (CONICET) and is the director of the IISCOT (Institute of Social, Commercial and Technological Research) at the Universidad del Aconcagua. He has a degree in Tourism, a master degree in Tourism Planning and a PhD in International Relations. With scholarships from different States, he has developed postgraduate and postdoctoral studies at universities in Madrid, Rome, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and Sydney. He lectures on Tourism at the Universidad del Aconcagua, International Relations at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, as well as in the Master in International Relations at the Universidad de la Empresa (Montevideo, Uruguay), and in the PhD in Geography at the Universidad Nacional de San Juan. He was also consultant for a tourism development program financed by the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank).
He has published some books: “Argentine tourist image. Tourism policy and foreign policy” (2010), “Argentina and its relations with East Asian countries” (2015), “Tourism Planning I: Formulation. Reflections from West Argentina” (2020), “Tourism Planning II: Assessment. Reflections from West Argentina” (2023).
